The third and final part of this assessment was a carry on from the
prior task involving the Adobe Plus magazine. As my original only had 12
pages, I was required to extend this out to 16. I added a
contents/introduction page and included some more information as well as
examples, as well as adjusting some of the layout. I added in a border
for this one - to carry over from the cover. I added a chalkboard
texture to the cover to give it a new look and more depth. The
imposition for this one was the most difficult I have done so far, 16
pages was a lot more than what I'd previously managed!

Prepress Assessment - Logo
The second assessment was to design a logo for an internet cafe. This task involved using the logo - once designed on developing a corporate package for the client - eg, letterheads, business cards etc.
I utilised the Wi-Fi symbol in my design, incorporating it as a coffee cup as well as symbol for internet connectivity. The colours and rough shapes were to give the business and organic, earthy appeal - as is a current trend. The type used was KG Cold Coffee (note: this logo is not for commercial purposes, merely an assessment as part of a design course). Pictured are examples of the RGB, B&W and PMS colour logo.
Here is the business card and a t-shirt/coffee mug.
